McLennan, Alberta loted in the beautiful Peace Country. McLennan is an hour drive south of Peace River, two hours northeast of Grande Prairie and approximately 4 hours northwest of Edmonton.
McLennan is known as a transportation town, it is the hub of the Northern Railway Line. The railline from McLennan transports freight to and from the North up to Hay River, NWT and goes South from McLennan connecting to the Edmonton rail lines. In addition to rail service, the primary Highway 2 passes through the Town of McLennan.
The population in 2021 was 695. Though small, we are a community with a lot of heart.
Our town provides services to entire region with the lol hospital and RCMP detachment loted here.

Any persons affected by this decision may appeal to the Secretary of the Development Appeal Board, Box 356, McLennan AB. Such an appeal shall be in writing stating the grounds for the appeal and delivered personally or by registered mail on or before October 13, 2022.
Pursuant to Section 685(3) of the Municipal Government Act, no appeal lies in respect of a development permit for a permitted use unless the provisions of the land use bylaw were relaxed, varied or misinterpreted.

McLennan ATB Customer Community Banking - available every Wednesday from 10 am - 12 noon at the McLennan IDA.
ATB is situated in one of the offices at the IDA to assist customers. Customers n pay bills, deposit cheques and transfer funds within accounts. No sh Transactions. This will continue until the ABM is installed.
An ATB ABM machine will be installed in the McLennan IDA. The ABM machine will offer multi-denomination ($5, $20, $50 and $100's) Customers will be able to pay bills, withdraw and deposit sh using the ABM machine, and transfer funds within accounts. A representative from ATB will be on site to provide community banking on Wednesdays from 10am to 12 noon to provide guidance on how to use the new ATM machine.
